Why Glass?

Glass produces a clean bright tone rich in harmonics. Glass has many properties making it ideal for wind instruments. It is smooth and very hard making a brighter tone. The glass that we use for our flutes is borosilicate glass, the same glass used for kitchen and scientific laboratory equipment. This glass is commonly known as "Pyrex" is very durable, easly cleaned and is rated food safe and contains no lead.

Each and every one of our flutes and panpipes are handcrafted by flute maker James Hall and then decorated and kiln fired and shipped to you by my wife Jenny. The whole family helps my daughters Trisha and Kendra help with gold stamping the boxes, folding fingering charts and putting CD's into the instruction books
